Spiritual Dimensions of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD):
Healing the Wounded Soul, Restoring the Damaged Identity.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Desert Storm, Vietnam, Korea, World War Two...and all of those "Interesting Times" in between.

Regardless of how you or I feel about these wars, they all produce a common outcome. They all produce PTSD.

Whether we are engaged in a "Good War" or a "Bad War," in a "Just War" or an "Unjust War," or if we "Win" or if we "Lose," PTSD will be the one assured outcome of every instance.

PTSD does not care about winning or losing, it simply wounds the souls of women and men. It damages their relationships, and in some cases it can take their lives.

This website will soon provide resources for the understanding and healing of the spiritual dimensions of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

The site is owned by Dr. John Zemler, Ph.D., an Army Veteran with PTSD and a CathoicTheologian specializing in Scriptures, Non-Violence, and providing Spiritual Direction. John has had PTSD for 23 years and now works to create PTSD-Awareness and healing opportunities for those who suffer from from PTSD either directly or indirectly.
